INTRODUCTION
We greet and welcome you to our web site. Before you browse about us to see our own charity work we'd like you to understand the culture of our organization. Although Compass is a Nationally recognized & registered organization through the Government in South Africa our International registration and recognition allowed us to research the culture of charity on a global scale. The pressure of the global socio-economic climate has forced the lower levels of society outside of our socio-economic structure.therefore the poor, homeless, unemployed & uneducated live by their own rules & understanding of society because of the lack of access into our world order and systems. Out of this naivety and desperation to survive ,crime,corruption,abuse and lawlessness is birth, and the ones who suffer the most are the innocent babies that are born into this current world order. We recognize that even the heads of governments find it difficult to raise funds for ones own country.The key solution lies with the charity's and Non Profit Organizations(NGO's) that have access to funding.
That is why we have embarked on a vision to change the face and culture of charity in South Africa. The following will help you understand our goals clearly, although we raise funds for our own projects our main aim is:
TO BECOME A NATIONAL MONITOR FOR ALL CHARITIES. LINKED TO THE ARM OF GOVERNMENT WE'D BE ABLE TO STOP THE ABUSE OF FUNDS THUS ENSURING AN EVEN DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS TO SUFFERING COMMUNITIES AND PERSONS. WITH STRUCTURED MONITORING SYSTEMS AND NATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMMES FOR ALL CHARITIES, WE CAN MEDIATE BETWEEN THE DONORS, THE CHARITIES AND THE RECIPIENTS IN NEED ON A NATIONAL LEVEL.BY ALLOWING THE BUSINESS SECTOR TO PARTNER WITH US AS MEMBERS, THE PRESSURE AND COST'S OF MONITORING THEIR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE ALLEVIATED. NOW THE BUSINESS SECTOR WILL BE ABLE TO OUTSOURCE US AS THEIR OWN C.S.I.DEPARTMENT(SPECIALLY IF THEIRS A LACK OF FUNDS).(the preparation and planning to table this with the government is underway-updates on this site will be posted upon finalization)
